POLICE APPEAL: QUAD BIKE INCIDENT, COLESHILL, WARWICKSHIRE

WITNESS SOUGHT AFTER ROAD TRAFFIC INCIDENT

On 30 March at around 3pm, a cyclist was reportedly travelling down Station Road, in Whiteacre Heath, Coleshill when a Quad Bike and several off road style motorbikes alledgedly came around the corner on the wrong side of the road in the opposite direction.


This reportedly caused the cyclist, a man in his 60’s to fall from his bike, and sustain a head injury that caused him to lose consciousness despite wearing a safety helmet.


The quad bike and motorcycles failed to stop at the scene. A passing motorist stopped to assist the cyclist and dial 999. The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment.

The Quadbike and Motorcycle riders were reportedly wearing dark clothing and helmets / or balaclavas to hide their identities.

We just want to ensure this action doesn’t continue and end up ending someones’ life.
